CITY OF FRANCISTOWN BACKGROUND
Francistown is a city in the North-Eastern zone of Botswana, near the Zimbabwean border (Ramokgwebana Border). The city was founded in 1897 when the railway line, which was being constructed by the British South Africa Company, reached Monarch on 1st September 1897.
